“the iron that built the Chicago skyline… came through this port…” The area around the Great Salt Lake in Utah has got to be one of the most disgusting places in the world. No, seriously. As though the terrain wasn’t inhospitable enough, industries have managed to poison it. You’d figure it would look like Israel, in that the desert would be green, desalinized, all that.
