These swamp areas in the past was ecologically stable, with the opening of the canal to accommodate trade saltwater sips into the swamp and have virtually destroyed the natural protection-the tress and shrubs that protects the land. The huge area when dry becomes a dust bowl, when rainy becomes a flood plain. The place has become a nightmare for many. This kind of thing could have happened anywhere (in fact it is currently occuring, on a smaller scale, in other countries). Launching a nuke is definitely environmentally friendly.. and the amount of nukes required to blow up all of America would lead to armageddon.. Rei, please don’t show your ignorance and keep talking. We can just shoot down the sun. I mean, it's not that big, and then, no more dust! It'll be great. Or we can just nuke America. Hey, not my problem. I don't live there! I have the best idea ever!

Down with meat! Go veg! For the planet and for your health. Read "Mad Cowboy" or the many other reports out there (like this one from the Food and Agricultural Organization of the U.N.: http://www.fao.org/docrep/010/a0701e/a0701e00.HTM) about what we have to look forward to in the near future. Livestock is going to ruin this planet if we don't wise up. You can look forward to Dust Bowl II if we do not get a handle on livestock. Down with meat! Go veg! For the planet and for your health.
