I'd say that 99% of what you say here is exactly true!! Very well put, every bit of it............... The main thing that seems to keep the "Carnegie Development" from being built that one mile from Site 300. Is the fact that the area is home to the endangered "Kit Fox". Now I certainly don't wish to see a pretty critter like the Kit Fox die out due to "Suburban Development", so I of course am against the building of the Carnegie Development. What puzzles me so is how the local mover's and shakers in the Real Estate Raquet( some of which I know a little bit ) only seem to pay attention to the threat the Kit Fox has torwards their Bank Account's. It's almost as if they're using the Kit Fox Controversy to mask something much more threatening. Which would of course be the high possibility of radiation poisoning occuring amounst the inhabitant's of "any" development near such a hazardous facility........................Oh, before I forget to mention it. Back in the late 80's I believe it was announced that high explosives were no longer tested up there. Now once again they are, as I can personally atest to from a recent violent shockwave that shook town here recently. And no it wasn't an earthquake. I'm curious to know if they ever did "Officially Resend" such in a public manner; on paper and on the internet, instead of just announcing that such was being done again. The resident's here in town have all received a flyer in the U.S. Mail putting a big fat happy smile on Site 300's activities, it tries its' best to say that absolutely nothing done up there will endanger the people of Tracy. of course if you believe that I'll sell you the Golden Gate Bridge for $400 or $500 Dollars....................Just one last thing, please don't refer to Tracy Area as part of the Greater Bay Area. For the record I have nothing against it in the least, unlike other's here in town. In fact I love San Francisco and visit there as often as finances allow me to. I especially enjoy Japantown. But, I truly believe that the top of the Diablo Range is the clear dividing line between the the Central valley & bay Area Region's. Sorry for being such a stickler in the way of Regional Boundrie's and pride!.....................Thank's again to you for pos3ting this! I hope many other's will read this who are local and become concerned about such!!
