To Seargent Someone, I have been in KUMMSC. Of course due to not being PRP certified, I was only allowed as far as the Security Control point underground. As for the pictures, I agree, we need to stop taking pictures and advertising the location and security features of our Nuclear Weapons facility. I have read people mentioning that pictures don't matter because you can see it on google maps. However, if you do not know what you are looking for, you probably will not find it. Thank you for your service and to everyone else, stop advertising to the public our secrets. that is why it is so easy for attacks. In the words of Seargent Someone, STFU.

I used to work in it everyday for four years. It is KUMSC, 40 Feet Closer To Hell. We called it "The Hole." I still remember my old Asst NCOIC putting a frame up with dirt on the wall, as joke. It is one of the few places where shiet actually goes up! Welp everyone just proves a point we all speak like we all know what the heck we are talkin about, but ain't got a clue. Oh and FYI I remember when it became the 3098th MUNS, cause we all hated being associated with the MUNS overseas. So neener neener neener!

In the mid-1980's we lived on the south side of Albuquerque. We often rode our dirt bikes through the foothills and sandy washes towards the Manzano mts east of Kirtland. There was no fence stopping you from riding onto military land. There were signs saying no entry past this point and eventually you would see manned outposts on the hilltops with machine guns and huge bunker doors built into the rocks. Occasionally they conducted immense non-nuclear explosions and blew up planes positioned on top of huge towers in the flats southeast of the Air Force base. A freaky place to live close to.
